Not unless you are a celebrity. The local Rock Hill paper used to publish bankruptcies about 10-15 years ago, but not anymore. It is boring news.

However, it could be published. Filing bankruptcy is a matter of public record and anyone who knows how to do it could check the bankruptcy court files and review your files. I don’t recall one of my clients ever telling me that that has been a problem.
