Yes. You must list all of your creditors and all means ALL. If you even think that you might owe someone you need to list them (examples: (1) You drove your car into someone and nothing has happened. You need to list them because they could sue you. (2) you voluntarily returned a car to a creditor and they sold it and sent you a notice that you still owed money, but they haven’t done anything about it. They can still sue you, so you list them. (3) You owe your ex-wife, brother, aunt Susan, best friend, etc. money. List them so they can’t sue you later.).
If you don’t list a creditor or a lawsuit that you could be or are involved in then if you are in a lawsuit about that matter AFTER bankruptcy where YOU are trying to get some money/counterclaim, then the case you want to win can be thrown out because you did not list it on the bankruptcy.
Failure to list creditors is perjury and bankruptcy fraud and you can be fined and imprisoned for these crimes.
HOWEVER, you are free to voluntarily repay any of the above debts you want so, while you hate to list Mama as a creditor, you never have to stop repaying her.
